Red Spherical Fly Trap — Medfly Decoy for Citrus & Olive Orchards
The Red Spherical Fly Trap is a specialized decoy device designed to attract and capture Mediterranean fruit fly (Ceratitis capitata) in commercial citrus, olive and stone fruit orchards. Unlike conventional yellow traps, the red sphere provides a highly visible decoy that mimics the appearance of ripe fruit, drawing male fruit flies into contact with the sticky adhesive surface.
