Why Green + Yellow?
Research shows that combining green (foliage mimicry) and yellow (fruit mimicry) colors creates a broader attraction spectrum for fruit fly species. Green traps attract Bactrocera dorsalis in tropical environments, while yellow traps target Ceratitis capitata in Mediterranean climates. Deploying both colors maximizes catch rates across diverse orchard ecosystems.
